THE ROCK FOUNDATION INC.

 The Rock Foundation Inc. is an organization created by the times we are currently living in. Where the “latchkey kid” turned into the parent, and began a generation of children who were raised by technology and television. A generation that was subjected to whatever circumstances they were left to figure out on their own. Now, the following generations, these children were not taught the lessons and principal’s so valued by the baby boomers and generations of the past, where respect and honor were held as a standard. Today’s parents are so consumed with lifestyle and surviving that a large number of our children are not getting adequate parenting time. Principals that have withstood the test of time, such as societal responsibility, respect of others property, respect in general, working towards a goal, punctuality, relationship responsibility, social courtesy, honoring authority, integrity, honesty, national pride, what our country was truly founded on; men who raised their boys to be men and understand the right of passage. Women who raised their girls to be ladies and understood their value. I’m not just speaking of an old fashioned way of life, but principals that when embraced and practiced have a proven result that is measured in peace and love and harmony in our societies that desperately need an infusion of these things. Our children are killing themselves at an alarming rate. Children today are displaced, not sure of where they fit in. Our future is dependent on the brave who are willing to look at the facts and see that if we do not change our ways we will devour our planet and each other. Let’s not repeat the failures of the past; let us be bold to see and recognize the patterns and join together to heal our situation before our opportunity expires!
